Custom Telescope Tripod
An astronomy enthusiast came to us to fix a problem which he noticed in the current tripod and telescope designs in the market. Existing products required the user to have a carry bag for the tripod and one for the telescope to be used. This became cumbersome and presented other workflow issues. Our client felt that an integrated design could expedite the workflow and make the stargazing experience more enjoyable. Our team came up with a design that allowed the tripod legs to close around the telescope, encasing it and locking it down for transport, most importantly allowing it to fit into a single bag, reducing the amount of gear the user would need to carry on location.
Sailboat Pump Inspection Cover
A sailboat based out of Europe was not able to sail legally without a clear cover on their inlet water pump for inspection. They had already used the spare and thus did not have any of the clear covers required by law to sail. The supplier in Europe would take 3-6 weeks to ship and the cost would exceed $10,000 USD. We were able to get not only one, but two of the required pump covers within forty-eight hours and at a fraction of the cost of the original supplier. We helped our client avoid daily delays that would have cost them in excess of $5000 USD/day and were able to give them the peace of mind of having not only a functional part, but a backup while they were underway on the ocean.
